PROTOTYPE CONSTRUCTION

At G&G, we can make prototypes of your ideas. From a simple manual pattern to a test article almost ready for series production.

Rapid prototyping is a method for making sample components quickly, starting from the design data. This makes it a production process aimed at, if possible, realising existing CAD data without manual detours or moulds, and to turn them directly and quickly into workpieces.

To achieve this, we have at our disposal the following possibilities:

• Our extended workbench allows us to create prototypes using all common technologies:
  Stereo lithography (STL or SLA)
  Selective laser sintering (SLS)
  3D printing
  Fine casting (for Zamac parts) etc.

• In our internal mould making department, we can produce individual prototypes made of Zamac and other materials using micro-milling tools
• For very small series, we are able to produce sample cavities that display the same strength values as the series part
